Punter and banker are allowed to draw cards in this live game. They are also allowed to draw additional cards in some instances, depending on the value of their hands. However, players can only draw if the total value of their hand is equal to or less than five. The players stand if the total is six or seven. With an eight or nine value, the player wins.
The rules are a bit more complicated for the banker. If the banker's hand is equal to or less than three, the dealer must draw a third card for the banker irrespective of the player's hand value. If the banker's hand is four, a third card will only be drawn if the player's hand is between two and seven. The banker cannot withdraw the third card with a value of seven or higher.
Gameplay
A punter's main objective in Live Fashion Punto Banco is to place a winning bet on either the banker or player. There is also an option of betting on a tie, though most punters usually avoid that as chances of a tie bet are significantly lower than for the other bets. The value of the cards determines the winning hand after all the cards have been played.
The live dealer deals two cards on the table for the punter and two more for the banker. In most cases, the game usually ends there as the values of the two cards are usually enough to determine the winner. However, there are several instances when the player or banker can draw additional cards. The quick game action and high stakes involved make the game more intense at every moment.
The winner is the one closest to the score of nine. As far as card values are concerned, tens and each of the face cards are assigned a value of zero. The ace is one point, and the rest of the cards have the values of the card number. When tallying, ten is usually subtracted if the card value exceeds nine. For example, an eight card and a five-card will have a score of three instead of 13.
