Gameplay

The readers who have played live Baccarat don't have much to learn from this section. This is because the game is incredibly similar to other versions with just some modifications.

In the beginning, both the player and the banker are given cards. The value of the cards is the same as it is in regular live Baccarat. 10s and suites have zero value, Aces are worth 1, and the rest of the cards are valued according to their numbers.

The person whose combined value of both cards is 9 or the closest number wins the game. If no one is able to get the combined value of 9 or less, then the game results in a tie.

Everything mentioned above is the same as live Baccarat. What makes No Commission Baccarat unique is the feature called Super 6. The super 6 is an insurance bet which pays 15:1 if the banker wins the game with
a combined score of 6.

Rules

Rules

The rules of the game are simple. This section is divided into two pieces. One will describe the rules for the player and the second for the banker.

Player

  • Draw card: When the player has a combined value of 1,2,3,4,5, or 10 they draw one more card.
  • Stands: If the combined value of the cards is 6 or 7, the player can’t get another card.
  • Natural: If the combined value is 8 or 9, the banker cannot draw.

Banker

Rules for bankers are much more complicated compared to rules for players.

Whether the banker gets to draw or stand depends on two factors. The combined value of the banker’s first two cards and the value of the player’s third card.

Depending on the combined value of the banker’s first two cards, the numbers required for the player’s third card are required to decide whether the banker gets to draw or stand changes.

Here are the rules that decide whether the banker gets to draw or stand. CV represents the Combined Value of the first two cards and PTC represents the Player’s Third Card.

To draw:

  • If CV is 3 the PTC should be any number but 8.
  • If CV is 4 the PTC should not be 1,8,9, or 10.
  • If CV is 5 the PTC should be 4, 5, 6, or 7.
  • If CV is 6 the PTC should be 6 or 7.

To stand:

  • If CV is 3 the PTC should be 8
  • If CV is 4 the PTC should be 1,8,9, or 10
  • If CV is 5 the PTC should not be 4,5,6, or 7
  • If CV is 6 the PTC should not be 6 or 7
  • If CV is 7 the PTC doesn’t matter

For Natural, the rule is the same for both the player and the banker. If the combined value is 8-9, the player cannot draw.

How to win at No Commission Baccarat:

While Baccarat has a reputation of being hard, only a simple strategy needs to be understood to win no-commission baccarat. In the traditional baccarat, the house edge for a banker bet is 1.06% while the player bet has 1.24%. But when it comes to no commission baccarat, the edges on both tie bets and player bets are the same. The rules remain the same nonetheless. The banker’s payouts are very different hence the house edge changes to 4.07%. So, the best move is to bet the player’s hand every time. However, it is advisable to ignore the results that are being displayed on the board. Players on the live baccarat table might be monitoring the outcomes of every single hand. These actions neither help nor hurt because each hand is independent.
